Go up the hill out of the ferry terminal, following the signs for Newport and Ryde

You pass Osborne House, and Whippingham.

You come up to a roundabout, turn left towards Ryde.

About 50/100yards down on the right is a sign that says to Sandown & Ventnor. (also says to Robin Hill, Butterfly world and steam railway)

Take this turn, follow the lane up to a mini roundabout, and go straight over

Keep heading to Sandown/Shanklin. You go pass the Tidy Tip/ Landfill site.

You come to another mini roundabout (Robin Hill adventure park is on your left, and the Hare and Hounds Pub). Go straight over and keep heading towards Sandown/ Shanklin.

You come up to a ‘T’ junction; go left into Arreton (pass the Arreton Craft Village & White Lion Pub).

Keep on into Apse Heath passing Amazon World & The Fighting Cocks Pub into Apse Heath.

Go straight over a mini roundabout (shop is right by the roundabout)

Keep heading towards Sandown/Lake/Shanklin. You go down a hill pass the ‘I.O.W.Airport’ up to a roundabout with Morrison's on your left.

Keep going ‘straight’ up pass Lake Middle school (Beware speed Camera)

Keep going until you reach the traffic lights in Lake.

Turn right towards Shanklin.

Keep straight on over the Railway Bridge and into Shanklin, (Beware speed Camera) until you come to a set of Traffic lights.

Don’t turn direct left (to esplanade) but take the slightly left fork, up the hill on the road Signed posted To Ventnor.

This is Queens road, we are approximately ½ mile along on the left, just passed the Heatherleigh Hotel and before the big crossroads.
